PEPSI TWITTER HUNT
line

With more than $25K to give away via uniquely created Pepsi Refresh $250 EFTPOS cards, the 101 scavenger hunts in 40 days across Australia required military-style planning and management by Tango.
The campaign hit Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth, Gold Coast, Canberra, Darwin & Hobart from 4 January to 10 February with up to 3 hunts scheduled per day, taking place LIVE in the real world and on www.hitrefresh.com.au, which aggregated http://twitter.com/pepsiaustralia, http://www.facebook.com/pepsiaustralia
.

Tango created and developed the single-minded “Hit Refresh” activation, making all the elements come to life together with Pepsi’s partners Clemenger (outdoor), Amnesia (online), MTV (TVC/hosts) & EightyK’s (media).

The show must go on....
Darling Harbour, 6 Feb 10: Round II of the 09/10 Summer’s Mt Dew Battle for Supremacy series created & produced by Tango involved securing one of the country’s renowned street skate spots and up-scaling it into a skate game-style paradise with a stone-topped bank, wedges, picnic tables, concrete road barriers and double set of stairs.
Unrelenting rain dashed the hopes of the invited 20 Australian skaters vying to take home a slice of the $20K prize pie – with the postponement of event to April 2010.
But we still put together this as part of the TV programming and online content to show what went down.

While one in three woman over 35 suffer “pee problems”, the topic is stigmatized and is one of the few “no go” areas for open discussion among women – let alone product sampling. Tango created the Poise Pilates concept as the focal point of a 360-degree communications campaign that created a real world presence for the brand and an ability to connect with women and start the conversation in a non-threatening manner – while offering genuine positive advice.

After creating a successful Mt Dew Battle for Supremacy skateboard competition to support Australian street skaters in February 2009, the second Dew campaign upped the ante – to roll out two Battle events and take them out of the skate park into natural street skating terrain.
The first event on 12 December 2009 in Melbourne saw the team secure Federation Square, one of the country’s most lusted after skate spots.

Supporting the Max It (with your Mates) premise of the TV advertising, Tango worked with Nova and Pepsi’s media agency 80Ks to develop the station’s biggest ever advertising promotion – Max Your Lunchtime.

From prior to its opening in 2005 until March 2009, we worked to develop the park’s identity, its marketing assets and the product offer – as well as the product. From opening parties, to MTV partnerships, Easter Show clinic & demo programs and visits by some of the world’s top skaters, BMXers & inliners, we worked with the operators and stakeholders to turn Monster into a vibrant thriving hub for action sports.

We are alive.

Ironic, we live and bring to life so many brands but have neglected letting people know what we do!
Just like that proverbial plumber with a dud loo.
But now, here is Tango.
Online.
Posting work as it happens.
....We are alive.
