Rolling on from the first Battle in February meant the event team, together with the event’s curator Renton Millar, had a platform from which to work….pre-qualified skaters and methods of working to created a selection of the nation’s top 20 skaters using an industry panel.
The bigger challenge was optimizing the venue to turn it into a skate venue of true merit.
The result was the Fed Square stairs set up, created with skaters and Tango’s special building team.
Add into the mix 5000 skate fans and a mild day – and Battle’s first Melbourne event produced an amazing day of skate.
Tango develops all creative, content and PR materials to support this event series as part of its overall activation work for Mt Dew.
